every Tuesday, May-October Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market runs every Tuesday from May to October, 12-4pm in Grove Park, rain or shine. The market has 25 vendors selling vegetables, fruit, cheese, meat, seafood, prepared food, baked goods, plants and cut flowers. There are weekly events such as chef demos, music and a green tent that will educate consumers on conservation and green energy. www.rbfarmersmarket.com.
every Thursday CLASSIC STEAKHOUSE EXPERIENCE presented by Nage restaurant and Hickman's Meat Market. Nage will offer a special menu every Thursday that includes a number of different prime steaks such as a cut to order filet mignon, a 22-ounce porterhouse, and a dry-aged prime NY strip accompanied with classic sauces and sides. Also offered will be a number of traditional appetizers including shrimp cocktail, garlic'ed escargot, baked oysters, and classic caesar salad.  All of the prime steaks for the evening will be provided by Hickman's Meat Market. Butcher and owner Bill Hickman will be working the dining room throughout the evening to discuss the different cuts offered, help you select a steak, and cut one to your specifications. The atmosphere will match the level of comfort and professionalism of Nage, but with the classic steakhouse touches. Nage will also feature vintage music with songs from the Rat Pack era, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong. Nage Restaurant and Hickman's Meat Market are located in the Shore Plaza at 19730 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach. There is ample free parking. Saturday, Nov 7 Day of Drumming at The Yoga Studio. Award-winning teacher and founding member of the band Rusted Root, Jim Donovan, will be hosting the 1st Annual Rehoboth Day of Drumming at The Yoga Studio, Rt. 24 at Peddlers Village in Lewes. During the event Donovan will conduct two interactive drumming workshops. The first workshop, from 12-2:30pm is titled "The Rhythm Renewal Drumming Workshop" and will feature participants learning rhythms, songs, chants and concepts from Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean. From 2:30-3:30, a vegetarian potluck lunch will be held with participants bringing their favorite dish. The second event, from 3:30 - 6pm, is called the "The Yoga of Drum and Chant: Drumming and Meditation Workshop" and will feature participants learning rhythms, mantras, chants, concepts and relaxation techniques from India, Tibet, Central Africa, and the Caribbean. Donovan provides a large selection of authentic African drums called djembes for participants to use during the workshop. Saturday, Nov 14 EXHIBIT OPENING Jewelry Opening at Heidi Lowe Gallery. The opening of the annual group jewelry show, “Multiples,” will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Heidi Lowe Gallery. In time for the holidays, “Multiples” exhibits limited-edition jewelry for sale by studio artists. Lowe, whose work includes sterling silver with semi-precious stones and shells, will be on display, as well as work by studio artists from around the globe through Dec. 31. Heidi Lowe Gallery is the little yellow cottage at 328 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. Its namesake opened the gallery in 2005 to the pleasure of every bare neck, wrist, finger, and earlobe at the Delaware shore. The gallery specializes in art jewelry, which is jewelry made by a studio artist. Rehoboth Beach native Lowe also creates her own innovative jewelry line and teaches private lessons on premises. This series of stories for, from and about the Quilt is threaded together by a volunteer's experience while making a panel in memory of a friend. In monologues and songs that bring the audience through the full range of emotions, QUILT, A MUSICAL CELEBRATION commemorates the victims and survivors of this disease and the ones left behind.

Monday, Dec 7 Rehoboth Beach Hometown Christmas Parade along Rehoboth Avenue, beginning at 6:30pm. A local tradition, the parade will feature more music, more costumes and more fun than ever, with volunteers from the Fire Department, Police, Public Works and community organizations. Dozens of local groups, bands and participants have already signed up. Line-up starts at 4:00 The parade begins at State Road, travels East to the Boardwalk and the turns West and goes back up to the Convention Center. Parade entrants are judged, with prizes awarded at the Christmas Party immediately following the parade at Convention Hall. Youngsters can chat with Santa and light refreshments will be served.
