Lewes library to host musical discussion with noted guitarist

The Music School of Delaware and Lewes Public Library invite guests to gather around the library’s fireplace at 7 p.m., for a discussion with composer and guitarist J. Andrew Dickenson. Dickenson has been involved with many productions as a performer, composer, music director and arranger. During this intimate conversation, he will walk through the compositional process he uses when writing new pieces. He also will address how nature influences his work, including his woodwind quintet, Blue Ridge Ballades, which premiered at the Music School’s Milford Faculty & Friends concert series in April. Seating is limited, and registration is required at lewes.lib. de.us or by calling the library at 302-645-2733.
