8:00 AM   The 5k course will begin at Station 1, located at 219 Rehoboth Avenue, and travel down Rehoboth Avenue through the beautiful north side of Rehoboth Beach to the boardwalk.  The RBVFC 5k is the only race allowed on the boardwalk during the summer season. The post-race party will take place at Station 1 and each participant will receive a T-shirt with sponsor logos on it, a medal, and a swag bag. The party will also include music, entertainment for kids, and fire prevention fun and games. 

The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company (RBVFC) responds to almost every emergency in the Rehoboth Beach area. Every time you call to report a fire, a car accident, or a medical emergency, the many volunteers at the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company come to the rescue, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
